Gurukul The School Bagged Bronze In 24th CBSE National Hockey Tournament.

The budding Hockey team of Gurukul the School, armored with zeal, zest and frenzied enthusiasm bagged third position in the 24th CBSE National Hockey Tournament-2018 held at Guru Nanak Model Senior Secondary School, Doraha, Ludhiana, Punjab. Giving a tough battle to the power packed contesting teams from all over country; the magnanimous gurukulites proved dexterity and gumption in the under-19 boys category and brought home the glory of bronze medal. Coach Neeraj Kumar shared that the intensive training sessions and strategic planning by feisty players helped augment their unwavering stamina and sporting acumen. The insistent grit and avalanche of energy exhibited by the School Champion Vedant Oberoi seized him the unprecedented grandeur of ‘BEST FULL BACK OF THE TOURNAMENT’ award. Principal, Mr Gaurav Bedi applauded the commendable performance of the team.
