Hence, it is of paramount importance that children are kept aware of the hazards that might arise out of negligence related to regular health and hygiene practices.

Set examples to follow

Children tend to follow their parents when it comes to learning the practices. If you want your child to develop healthy habits, make sure that you are not setting the wrong example before them. If you want your child to wash his/her hands every time before having meals, you too have to wash your hands to set an example. If the kids see you washing your hands every time before eating, they will also follow the same, and you will not have to teach them separately.
